Upon arrival, the room had a strong moldy smell. When I inspected the bathroom, I found visible mold on the doors, dirty walls, and an overall unpleasant restroom environment. This was absolutely not a shower you would feel comfortable or safe standing in. I immediately went to the front desk to request a refund due to the unsafe conditions, specifically the mold on the walls and mildew odor. I was told I would need to wait 24 hours to speak with a manager. Despite leaving the property that same night and checking into a different hotel due to these conditions, I was still charged for the room. Ultimately, I did not receive a refund despite clear health and safety concerns. I do not recommend staying here, as mold and unsanitary conditions are unacceptable, and the handling of this situation was extremely disappointing.

I did not expect to waste money booking this hotel. Overall, the experience was extremely poor. If this were a motel, a lower-quality stay might be expected; however, this property fell far short of Wyndham’s standards. I regret having spent money on a room that was so uncomfortable I ultimately chose to sleep in my car, which felt more comfortable than the accommodations provided.

I thought that the hotel gave good value for the price. The room decor was basic but clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The room had a large TV, small fridge, microwave and safe. The pool looked inviting. The wi-fi was excellent. The front staff were very nice. I was originally assigned a room at The Tower but it was too isolating for me and the staff pleasantly accommodated my preference for a room closer to the main building. The hotel offered free shuttle busses to Universal’s theme parks. The location on I-Drive was convenient to many restaurants and shops. The trolley stop was right in front of the hotel. My only quibble was the TV channel list wasn’t set up so you had to check each channel to find out the station. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay.

Lovely room, friendly staff! Beautiful pool and nice hot tub! It was also convenient to have a little restaurant on site. We ate there the first night. As far as the room - it was good - we had all we needed including the nice large TV. The only things that were awkward were the high toilet seat (hurt back of the legs) and the slamming pool gate in front of our room. But we managed. Thank you! Having an extra mini shampoo and soap for every room would be helpful.
