The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was large, but it definitely needs a bathroom update and could have been cleaner. We could see that there was crud on the floor under the ac/heater and the walls had marks and stains on them. The pool is nice and there are lots of lounge chairs. The area is close to attractions and restaurants. Good hotel for the price.

The weekend we stayed here it was 35 degrees, and there was no heat in the room. Since it’s only ever that cold in Florida one or two days a year, I am not knocking this hotel for that; the A/C worked fine. (It warmed up enough to want A/C by the end of the trip lol) There is no external HDMI connection to the tv, which meant our fire stick from home was useless and we were at the mercy of regular tv. That being said, their WiFi was excellent, so at least if you have an iPad or some other device you can watch whatever on it just fine. But just know that as of January 2025, the tv’s are not smart. The outlets are plentiful and have USB ports as well as the regular power outlets. Our bed was a king and wonderful. The sheets were clean and the bed was tightly made on arrival, and at the 4 day “refresher” visit. I did not visit the lobby restaurant nor pool. I was in town for a conference at the OCCC, which I walked to and from each day; very easy walk. We went to city walk one night as well, which we walked to. Extremely easy and pleasant walk, all sidewalk with giant crosswalks. There is tons to do near the hotel, as it is right on International Drive. There were a few homeless folk around the property but we were never harassed and I felt perfectly safe even when my husband left and I stayed alone for the remaining days of my conference. This was my second stay with this hotel chain, first time at this location. I would stay here again 🙂

Will do on a budget

Budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for, I suppose. This was my second time staying here, and I was hopeful that previous conditions had been a fluke or had been improved upon. Sadly, improvement was not the case. In an excellent and convenient location and free parking is awesome, but the awesome ends there. From the elevators, to the hallways, this place always seems as though it's in a state of unfinished repair. Though clean, my room wasn't stocked with towels, so I tried to ring the desk to request. Because my phone was unlabeled, this was a frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful effort. So I redressed and walked to the front desk. The attendant seemed slightly annoyed and unapologetic about the inconvenience. Again, given the expense, I don't expect Ritz-level service, but a certain degree of hospitality should be standard.
