Alternatively, Cambre is 20 kilometres to the north of Ordes. Head to this place for convenient access to Betanzos Church of San Francisco and Museo das Marinas.

Oleiros, 30 kilometres to the north, may be worthy of a day trip. Use it as a port of call when visiting the Museo Militar, Jardin de San Carlos and the San Anton Castle Archaeological and History Museum. If you're still not persuaded, other close by attractions include Bastiagueiro Beach and the Luis Seoane Foundation.

There's a world full of amazing flavours waiting to tango across your taste buds in La Coruna. With so many decadent things to treat yourself to, all you need to take along is a solid appetite — and perhaps a pair of stretchy jeans.
