There's only 1 hotel within a 10-kilometre radius of Nishibara's centre, so you'll need to move faster than a kid on red cordial if you want somewhere to stay nearby.

There's nothing quite like a fabulous night's sleep (and a long sleep in) at Hotel Route-Inn Court Uenohara. This accommodation option is as central as you'll get in Nishibara.

You might also like to check out the Jinya Ryokan or the Komadori Sanso. The Jinya Ryokan is 30 kilometres away from the centre of Nishibara, and the Komadori Sanso is 17 kilometres away. If those ones aren't your cup of tea, you might prefer the Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji or the Hotel Mifuji.

Still haven't discovered the perfect room? You might just find a lavish enough thread count in Hino. You'll also be able to explore Sengenyama Park and Sorosenen. If you want to spend a few nights in Hino, consider the rates at the Tachikawa Grand Hotel and Keio Plaza Hotel Tama. Make your way 40 kilometres southwest and you'll be in Fujikawaguchiko, a regional centre with a population of 23,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, you'll be able to whip out your camera and get your tourist on at Forest Mall, Hachio-ji Shrine and Katsuyama Road Station. Koumi Park and Forest Adventure Mt Fuji are a few more which are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. You've got a great selection of hotels in Fujikawaguchiko, with the Ooike Hotel and Fuji Lake Hotel at the top of our list.

Haneda Airport lies 65 kilometres from the centre of Nishibara. If you're exhausted after your flight, you'll be chuffed to know that there's some awesome accommodation nearby. The Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu and the Royal Park Hotel THE Haneda are just a short ride away.
