I liked the stay and the close location to anywhere we wanted to go. There were days we didn’t even need to use the subway. The only small thing that bothered us was the room was right by the elevators and we heard squeaky noise the whole time ppl were using it.

The room was so hot but engineering did fix the issue. The room had not been properly cleaned, there were clothes in the drawer from the last person. The bathroom was so cold and the heat did not work but the building is old and I think the windows just didn’t help with keeping it warm. The hotel is advertised as having car service, they do not. We had no idea where the gym or laundry was as I think we were just placed in a vacant room that was not desirable. Good things, bed was comfortable, we had enough towels and the location is great!

The hotel was very nice and clean, and the room was spotless. Jose and Chafik, the doormen, were truly the standouts of our stay. They took great care of our bags both before and after check-in, flagged cabs for us, and offered helpful local guidance—especially explaining that taxis are often more reasonable than rideshares, which was incredibly helpful as visitors. When we were being charged an unreasonable amount for a very short pedicab ride, they immediately stepped in, advocated for us, and helped ensure we were treated fairly. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests were exceptional. Service like this is what makes a hotel memorable, and they made our stay outstanding.

Everything was very satisfying the only thing I would change is opening the coffee shop by 5:30 or 6:00 am. That might just be a me thing I am an early bird. Other than that it was great, very accommodating and the staff was very helpful when I had questions about directions or restaurants in the area 10/10 recommend

Great hotel, great location, the staff is always friendly. I stay here every time I visit NYC and will continue to. But please clean the vents in the rooms at some point - they are filthy.

Staff was very extremely helpful and nice. Kept our luggage locked up for us so we could explore until check in. Did the same thing on our final day and had cabs waiting to take us to the airport. Room was clean and nice.
