The location of the Margaritaville Hotel is great just two minutes from Times Square—and the room itself was clean. However, there were several issues that really affected our stay. The noise level is constant and easily heard inside the room; maybe higher floors are better, but that wasn’t our experience. The rooms are extremely small, to the point where you can barely take a step comfortably. I specifically paid extra for a city view room to surprise my wife for her birthday, but we were given a different view. When I raised this with the staff, they blamed Expedia, which was frustrating and irrelevant. I’ve been booking through Expedia for about 10 years and have never had this kind of issue before. Unfortunately, this mistake completely ruined the birthday surprise. On top of that, the staff were not very friendly or helpful when trying to resolve the problem. Overall, despite the great location, the experience did not meet expectations especially considering the price paid.

Nah man food n bev needs help. They need to learn proper service and whomever is in charge of the food quality at all Margaritaville Resorts needs to come experience this and see if they believe its to nyc standards, miami standards. This is cruise ship quality mass produced food being served. Also maybe large Black security goons should refrain from talking about wanting to body slam hotel guests. Sunday 12/21/25 at 2:00 pm

We were sceptical after all the other reviews on other platforms we read about the smoking sensors being triggered when no one was smoking in the rooms and being charged $500, we are non smokers so we were concerned by these reviews, but I am glad to report all was fine. We had a fab stay here, the bedrooms were clean spacious and comfortable (king city view). We were on 12th floor it was a little noisy Saturday evening but fine after that. The roof top bar was great and gave some good views. The location was brilliant being in Times Square and just around the corner from broadway (Lion king and Moulin Rouge) The subway only a few minutes away too. The hotel kept our luggage on check out day so we could explore the city still. I would book this hotel again.

This hotel is in a convenient location with great food options—from excellent coffee and breakfast to the bars, everything was easy and enjoyable. The true hidden gem, though, is Karen, who served us breakfast two mornings in a row. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to take care of our special needs daughter’s gluten-free dietary needs. She made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly cared for. On top of that, she took time to chat with us while still providing outstanding service. Karen is the kind of person who turns a nice stay into a memorable one. We can’t thank her enough!
