Was not happy that we had ro wait 15 minutes to check in when we got there. Both mornings the breakfast area was dirty with no tables available to sit and had to find staff to ask for food since they were out of stuff.

I booked this hotel for my family because the price was right for us and it was within walking distance to the train station. It is a basic hotel. It is a place to lay your head down at night after a fun day of exploring and site seeing. It is a typical small NY hotel room. The room was clean and everything was in working order. Everyone we came in contact with that works at the property was very friendly and helpful. I did miss having a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold on a hot summer day but they had a free breakfast in the morning so I looked past that. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We arrived shortly after noon dropped our bags and went to lunch at the Tick Tock. We got back about 2pm and our room was given to us. Front desk staff very polite and professional. Stayed our 3 night without any problems.

Hotel very close to Madison Sq Gardens and Penn Station so pretty central to all other attractions. Rooms clean, comfortable and air conditioned with fresh towels every day Breakfast was included but in my opinion not great, we only used it for coffee in the morning.

We did not even stay there. There were homeless people sleeping outside of the main entrance. Over crowded lobby with people’s luggage stack out in the open. Three patrons were turning in room keys trying to get refunds and receipts when they didn’t even stay there. Saying the the rooms were gross and the staff were lowsy. My wife and kids felt unsafe and we had to stay in a hotel blocks away. They would not refund our money and we had to pay for two hotels. Expedia has been trying to refund the money but the manager is refusing to pay

The staff was very responsive and courteous. The location is nice being so close to many landmarks and access to the subways. The breakfast was good as well. Having access to full size body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and lotion in the bathroom was very nice. The bathroom is a bit small, especially the shower and the bathroom sink was slow draining the water. The rooms are cleaned well for the most part. It was unfortunate that access to the property’s terrace was unavailable. And with the rooms being so close to the elevators it was a bit loud hearing the elevators. And not having access to a mini fridge or microwave was unfortunate as well.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to major train stations (Subway, NJ Transit, Amtrak, LIRR and path). You can also get to touristic places after a short walk. The area is safe. The hotel rooms are good, particularly if you go out all day. The breakfast area is small, and can get very crowded when the hotel is fully booked. Our floor and room had a light smell from humidity (it was a very clean area, but the smell was there, maybe from a/c). Staff is very friendly.
