Very nice property and good location, but even though I was on 12th floor, windows so thin I could hear every ambulance, fire truck and police siren in Manhattan. Couldn't sleep at all. Highly recommend earplugs.

I love the Freehand. Even though the rooms are small, they have everything necessary for a delightful stay. The decor is surprising, warm, and unique. Its location makes NYC very walkable. And if you don’t want to walk there are always taxis available and the subway station is nearby.

I would just say the carpets look super dirty and worn out. If you had wood or tiles it would look so much cleaner and more chic
