Great experience for an enchanting old world New Orleans feel. The establishment has two wonderful bars with excellent live music, one of the bars is on the rooftop, a delicious breakfast cafe and a fabulous restaurant:The Jack Rose. I have already recommended it to others and will stay again if I get to go back Just DONT lose your key...$250 replacement fee! ( I managed to find mine, but I was so stressed out about it.

do not stay in room 202. there is a sound similar to the sound of an washing machine that is spinning unblanaced. it went on for 48 hours straight. Then it became intermittent. I informed the front desk. They said they would contact maintenance. That was day 1. Nothing happned. Day 2 I asked to speak to the manager. They said the manager was not in but that they would contact me. Nothing happened. I asked the staff to come to the room to listen to the sound, they said they couldn't leave the front desk. (There were two staff members there at the time.) Day 3, I complained again about the noise. Nothing. They also ignored basic requests. I asked for 4 towels for the 4 people in our room. I got 3 towels. I asked for a towel or bathrobe hook on the bathroom door. (There had been one before, but there was only a hole there at the time we were there. It is hard to hang 4 towels on one small towel rack over the toilet.) Nothing happened. The onsite bar, coffee shop and restaurant are good. The staff at the front desk is unfriendly to the point of being rude. 5 days and not a single smile from any of them. I wouldn't stay there again simply because of the unfriendly employees at the front desk and their lack of willingness to help their guests. They do not care.

All of the rooms need updating. They were no real clean and there was a severe lack of maintenance. The door knob was almost falling off and they neglected to tighten it up my entire stay. There is also no communication between the cleaning staff, front desk, and management. Basically, once you check in your requests are ignored. I had 2 rooms and both of them were only cleaned on day one of our 4 night stay. They have a great roof top bar and a good restaurant but I am assuming they are under separate management and ownership.

Quaint old school hotel with great bars and restaurante, but the front desk staff were not friendly at all. old keys that dont work well, in room safe didnt work and had to call several times to get it fixed.

There was scaffolding covering the front of the in front of the hotel which made it very unattractive. The front desk staff were never friendly. The sheets, tho clean, smelled dirty…not fresh.

The room cleaning was terrible. There was actual trash on the bed and pillows on the floor after the cleaning. They never gave us water or coffee in the room. There was a BRIGHT green street light lighting up the room all night. The street noise was incredibly loud.

The room and the bathroom are spacious. The room was very quiet. The hotel neighborhood is charming. I wish there was some seating in the lobby. It was inconvenient when I needed to wait for my uber.
