I have never stayed at a Hampton Inn this dirty before. The entire hotel is in need of a deep clean and TLC - more specifically, my shower had months worth of soap scum and grime built up, the floors in the bathroom had clearly not been mopped and were visibly dirty, and there were hairs on the bedding. I asked to be moved to a different room, which was marginally cleaner but there were caked on globs of dirt on the carpeting and a literal toenail on the bathroom floor. I cancelled my stay which was refunded, but I found this to be far beneath the hotel brand standard. Further, there is no airport shuttle available (despite what it states on the Expedia listing), which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. I will say that despite all this, the staff was nice and helpful in terms of how to navigate the streetcar/giving directions.

Large room and bathroom area. Very clean with everything you need. Great location for exploring and dining in the magazine street area. Parking was easy and reasonably priced. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Could use better lighting in the bathroom for makeup and the make-shift closet in our room was a little odd but otherwise it was a great stay and I would return

The front desk people were very courteous and extremely accommodating. However, the morning the day we left, the housekeeper lady, knocked on the door and spoke very rudely to us. We have stayed at this place many times and everytime we go to New Orleans. We will continue going there.
