This place was so nice and every staff member we interacted with was very helpful, friendly, and kind. The room was so clean, the bed was very comfortable. We will go back again!

Room smelled stale. Pizza box with leftover pizza on balcony. Toilet would not flush, had to call for someone to plunge it. Then, the handle for the toilet broke loose and, would not flush. We have stayed here before and, always looked forward to our stay. This stay was certainly not up to the same standards. For the price, it was not worth it - very disappointing.

Exceptional front desk staff, both on the phone and in person. I stayed three nights. Very quiet. Comfortable bed. Didn't need ac or heat. The building's age showed in minor ways which did not detract from the stay. Conveniently located for restaurants and shopping. With the modest room rate, it was perfect if you just need a bed and an easy, self-serve breakfast. Although the room was not cleaned until I departed, I would definitely stay here again.

My family of four had the pleasure of staying here and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much at first because it's called a lodge, but this place exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, cute, and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable, which is important. Water pressure in the shower was excellent- something that definitely matters when you are traveling! The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. They also offer a complimentary breakfast. It wasn't a huge spread but had everything you need to start your day- bagels, waffles, muffins and coffee. Be prepared to wait a few minutes because the breakfast is behind the desk where you are not allowed. The staff member will get you what you want. Overall, it was affordable, and enjoyable. If we ever travel back to Gainesville, we will stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Gainesville.
