Finding the check in desk was confusing. Nothing on the web said parking was additional. Finding the free parking area was confusing. The property is outdated and has a sense of filth. Amount paid for the condition of the property was not satisfactory.

Not worth it for the money

The location is beautiful and check-in went smooth, but my room was dirty and I had remnants of dog food all over the floor. There was holes in my wall. The room looks like it hasn’t been updated in a long time. The bed was very worn in and uncomfortable.

Perfect location for our hike to Aspen.(Booked a shuttle to the trailhead.) Flew into Gunnison, took free RMTA shuttle 1/2 mile from the airport—dropped us right in the Mt.Crested Butte Transit Center. Lovely, quiet space. From there a short walk to Elevation Hotel. The next morning, took the free mountain bus down to town—runs every 20 mins super convenient. Clean, spacious rooms, great location, perfect. Note: resort fee is not included when booking through third-party— but we knew that from other reviews. Worth it!!!

Found silverware and a coffee pod in the freezer of my jr suite that was strange. Also the staff did not say you needed to request housekeeping to clean your room. After three days I asked the cleaner if they were going to clean and she asked if I requested it. I didn’t know I had to request to get trash removed and new towels.

Comfortable and so convenient, with everything you need within walking distance. You can walk to trails (and several bike rental options if you prefer to ride instead of hike) and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and shops. If you want to go into CB, the shuttle bus stops steps away and runs every 20 minutes. Parking in the garage costs extra, but it's free in/out or you can leave your car and walk/bus most places. The on-site restaurant, Jose, is tasty and has excellent drink options (including a robust non-alcoholic menu) and mountain-side atmosphere with live music. Service is a little slow but that's the norm in CB. The spa is outstanding - I had the best spa treatment in my life. (They charge resort rates, but it was worth it.) Lots of comfortable common areas to hang out in (or work remotely). Lots of families and dogs, so the common areas can be chaotic, but the rooms are surprisingly quiet.

Most of the rooms overlook a garage roof or something. Guess you’d have to pay a lot more for a view. We were willing to upgrade but the power was out so they couldn’t do it. Short car ride to town so location was good. Snodgrass trail was excellent!

Unsatisfied with the cleanliness

Upon checking into our room, we noticed that it had not been properly cleaned. There was dog hair and a visible stain-resembling gum- on the couch. Additionally, the bathroom was not clean, there was mold present on the shower curtains. Despite these concerns, when it was brought to the attention of the front desk, the gentleman assisting us was very understanding and accommodating. He was able to switch our room, which we greatly appreciated.

When we got to our room and opened the door other people had already been checked into the room. It took us awhile to stand in line and the staff to get us another room. The bathtub was so slippery my husband caught himself from falling when he was showering. I decided I would take a bath but the batty. Stopper did not go all the way down. The bathroom argent in the wall Susanne t to si k was filthy. It was very hot in the toon. No central air. The fan helped some. The TV was difficult to use and my husband had to plug and reconnect it for it to work. No plastic sacks for ice bucket and we washed it before using it. Bed was hard but pillows were fine. No chair on patio to sit and look at scenery or cool off from the hot room. The Mexican Jose’s restaurant was good!
