We stayed overnight at this hotel because we had an early morning train travel to Quebec. It’s just across the train station and super convenient even with luggage. The hotel entrance has a ramp which was helpful. We didn’t realize that the Hotel lobby is on the 10th floor! There was a heated pool which we didn’t get to enjoy but it’s cool how some of the rooms have large windows facing the pool. Our room was facing the street but we didn’t mind. Room was spacious enough with a small coffee table and seating by the window. We ordered room service for dinner and the food was excellent with generous portions! We would definitely consider staying here again.

The Bonaventure is a fantastic spot for those needing to use Via Rail or wanting a quiet retreat from the busy-ness of the city while being quite close. Staff are very kind and the hotel is very welcoming. You won't be disappointed!

The hotel is centrally located, making it very easy to walk to a number of attractions. Its a very beautiful hotel and the rooms were clean and well appointed. I did find it strange that room service closed at 9:30 on a Saturday night. When checking out I mentioned that I have never stayed in a hotel that was so Loud. Beginning in the early morning until we left at 11, we could hear every noise from the room above us, Things being dropped, running and pounding back-and-forth and even loud talking. I have never stayed in such a non-soundproofed room anywhere. It was impossible to sleep and Now I’m exhausted with a 6 Hour drive ahead of me. The staff just said oh, sorry about that. And that was it.

The facility was definitely not in top-notch shape. There were things like dings in paint and cracks in tile but if you look beyond that it was a great place to stay. I recommend you dine out. Take advantage of the outdoor pool and hot tub.

This hotel was the first ever hotel I booked on expedia and it did not disappoint. The hotel lobby was beautiful, plenty of space to sit and wait around, the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi were amazing to keep yourself warm during the snowy and cold time of january. The room was great, clean, great view, and good space. I really enjoyed and loved this hotel, I am definitely going back if I visit Montreal again.
