We loved our stay here! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the inn was absolutely adorable! The breakfast was simple but yummy and had such a great view :) We loved how walkable the inn was to the restaurants in Cannery Row and the aquarium. 10/10 would recommend.

super quaint and cute! Wish the shower was tall people friendly for the Monterey room, but the room itself was stunning. The courtyard needs a bit of a clean up, and the complimentary coffee and water were cold. Other than that we loved the view from breakfast and from the front of the inn! Very picturesque.

The room was quaint but funky. The headboard on the bed squeaky loudly and there were a lot of steps within it which we had to be very careful to not trip on in the dark. There also was no TV, which we hadn’t noticed when we made our booking. That said, it was very well located to enjoy the Monterey Peninsula and reasonably priced for what you got.

Lovely ocean view from some common rooms. Nice breakfast from one of those rooms. Easy walk from hotel along Oceanside trail to Lover’s Point. Old building, full of antiques.

We stayed in the Captains room with a wood-burning fireplace. They replaced the wood and cleaned the fireplace each day, and we sat in front of the fire and read/enjoyed each other’s company. The bed was firm and comfortable and the room was very quiet. The breakfast was lovely with different options, and the servers were very attentive. The dining room was right in front of the ocean and we could see seals poking their heads above water as we dined. We’d love to come back and try different rooms with different decor/furniture.
