In search of Monarchs in migration? Pismo Beach, CA has had the most this year. Monterey didn’t have any while we were there. After the stroll through the grove, take the path out to the beach. It’s beautiful and not crowded.

With a stay at Edgewater Inn And Suites in Pismo Beach (Downtown Pismo Beach), you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Pismo Beach Pier and Pismo State Beach.
Room was clean, staff was friendly, room was easy to check into. Definitely an older hotel, but really had zero problems. Insanely great price for being 20 steps from the beach. Zero complaints here!
