Not the greatest place

The floor was quite dirty and there were dustballs in the corners. The people hanging around made us feel uncomfortable. The building is in poor condition - my husband tripped on a broken stair (!), we could hear a lot of noise outside and through the walls

We liked the proximity to the beach and the ability to bring dogs. But the price was crazy for what it was. The bed was small but comfrtable. Pull out couch was uncomfortable and noisy. Walls are paper thin and lots of road noise. The flooring in the room was falling apart. The shower and sink in the bathroom didn't drain. Won't be staying again.

Check in is 4 pm. Property was fully booked during my stay. Family friendly property with pool. Lobby is open 24 hours and offers coffee 24 hours. Small continental breakfast offered in the morning. I would stay here again. Great location with restaurants walking distance.

I had an amazing stay at the Edgewater Hotel! From the relaxing pool to the prompt and friendly room service, everything exceeded expectations. The location is a major plus everything is within walking distance, including the beach, which made our trip super convenient. However, one downside was the noise from the floor above us. It seemed like there were children running and jumping around nonstop, and we could constantly hear banging and what sounded like furniture being moved. It made it hard to fully relax in our room at times. It would be great if the hotel reconsidered placing families with small children on upper floors. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with just one area for improvement. I'd definitely consider returning just maybe requesting a top-floor room next time!

We planned a family trip to Pismo for a fun summer getaway from Sacramento. Initially when I booked this room online it looked nice, older yes, but still a clean and nicely well-kept room. Upon checking in it was very evident that the floors were not very clean (there was sand throughout) and the bathroom had buildup of hair and grime all along the floorboards. The furniture was very worn and looked like it came from a thrift store. The hot water was nonexistent, it was more like cool/lukewarm water when showering.
