It was a totally fine hotel. Front desk was 24 hours and extremely helpful as we had an early departure and they arranged a cab. Breakfast was good. People were friendly. Our room had a balcony. Shopping and restaurants were walkable. But be warned The Last Supper must be booked months in advance. But the nearby church has a great cathedral if you like painted surfaces.

Great location to explore Milan. Parking is limited however when I raised I needed a spot they ensured one was kept for me which was greatly appreciated when we arrived on the evening. Staff very helpful and room comfortable. Rooms are warm and even turning heating right down and off remained very warm. Would recommend this for all travellers

Great location, good service, noisy room at night!

Location of the hotel was excellent with top notch service. The room that was allocated however was a struggle to sleep in with continuous random noises like that from a water closet thru the night coming from across the walls. This happened on all three nights of our stay!!!

We enjoyed the extra facilities in our room (Whirlpool tub and steam cabinet). The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was going as were snacks at the bar. Just right for us.

Excellent place for business travellers . Lobby is a bit dated but most of the rooms are renovated and very comfortable. Very good value for Milan and very centrally located . Front desk staff is always very professional and pleasant . It was our third stay at Hotel Cavour.

Greta Hotel

Beautiful old traditional Italian hotel with excellent service. Really good breakfast a nice comfortable rooms. In good position in Milan would definitely stay there again. Only downside was the drilling which took place which was noisy when we were trying to have a rest in the afternoon. We’re definitely stay here again.

Could have been a great experience

The hotel room was lovely but the there was extremely noisy construction happening on the floor directly above our 2 rooms. We mentioned it to the front desk a number of times and were told it would stop in 10 minutes (not the case). We should have been told about the construction in advance so we could have made other arrangements. Nothing was done after we complained each day. We had to sit in the lobby because the noise in our rooms was intolerable. The room literally shook from the jackhammers above. So disappointing.
