My stay wasn’t smooth. The keypad to the door didn’t work, so we had to spend 20 minutes troubleshooting just to be given a key at the front desk. The TV shut off randomly midway through the night during times when the office was closed and we couldn’t contact them for help. There wasn’t any WiFi and we weren’t able to connect to any others nearby by MiaRentals. Even without these problems, the room was very small and the windows were clearly old to the point that the view was obscured by debris and a weird foggy color. The sinks themselves kept overfilling because they wouldn’t drain effectively and you could see all the dirt come back up. Not to mention, there was very little shampoo and conditioner, and they didn’t give any body wash. All the equipment was old, and the toilet looked like it was taken from a public bathroom.

Aside from the direct beach access which is probably the best part of this property, but the rooms were run down, old, and smelled of smoke not to mention the hack handyman work in the bathroom. The line just to check in took about 30-45 mins

Customer service at the management was rude they hang up on me trying to get help with the forms, the unit was very old, no upgrades at all towels very low quality, no coffee or tea provided as advertised and air conditioning very old loud and no way to regulate it. This was totally misleading from Expedia never mentioned was and old condo with no upgrades, they advertised as a hotel unit . Very disappointing. I would not recommend it.

The remodel is quite fair, could be done more neatly, not saying more expensive. For example be neat with the paint, don’t paint the trims and furniture. No fan in bathroom, really inconvenient Otherwise, for the price it’s okayish

Pros: valet staff was quick and efficient; lobby is lovely; elevators are efficient; food at the on-site restaurant was good, if a bit pricey; pool area was rather austere but nice (we didn’t use the pool due to the weather); access to the beach was great; our east-facing view was great; the on-site convenience stores and coffee shop were nice to have; location is good. Cons: the so-call “luggage-only” ramp is ridiculous and needs to be rethought; front desk staff was rather bored with dealing with guests; the room was awful-the toilet was not a household type toilet, it was a public toilet that needs to be stepped on to flush; the shower curtain was a thin Dollar Store plastic sheet; the tile around the tub faucet was cracked and bits are missing; no towel racks or hooks and nowhere to hang towels or clothes; the counter had suspicious stains; there was pink/orange mold behind the door; the bed was hard, the furniture worn and chipped; the TV remote batteries were kept in with duct tape; the stainless steel kitchen sink was rusty; the too-big futon was a toe catcher and too deep to sit on as a couch; for some reason the bedside shelves were placed way up high so as to be unusable from the bed; only 1 nightstand-had to use a table chair as the other one; the door barely sealed and light came through all the way around. The price we paid was understandable but I’ve stayed in $19/night hostels that were better.

Location was good, Access to beach excellent. Hotel itself needs remodeling ASAP has the potential to be a really good hotel with all the amenities it has to offer. However outdated rooms Everything in the room needs to be remodeled, replaced, or thrown away only thing can be kept is the TV..LOL Also on the website it advertises self parking options. False Advertising there is no self parking, you have to use their Valet. And the Valet is Slooooowwwwww I waited in line for 20 min and this was returning back to the hotel the line was down to the street curb other cars were blowing. For someone who book the hotel for one of the reason being self parking I was disappointed because I go in and out a lot when on vacay. This was a big inconvenience for me. I would not stay here again. Overall my stay was ok wasn’t terrible but wasn’t good either. Nuetral

The hotel was really dirty, my mother in law was having surgery and she needed a clean room. First 2 rooms had multiple cockroaches as well as unclean silverware and a coffee pot thar had a really bad puke smell. The last room they got, the tv didn’t work and the door knob fell off within first use. We also stated that she would need a walk in shower because of her surgery, but they didn’t give her one. She had to go to my room and take a shower there. My room, most of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work and the moment we used the microwave, the breaker tripped and it shut off our all of our power for multiple hours. Our hot water shut off for 2+ days and when I called to see what was going on, they told me that it would be on soon and I was told I was wrong. I do not recommend this hotel especially for the price my family and I paid for.
