The nation's capital city, Washington, is located roughly 110 kilometres to the southwest of Massey.

Does a stroll along the shore tempt you? Plan an outing to Rehoboth Beach or Sunset Beach.

Mother Nature's splendour is on full display in numerous places around Massey. Just 40 kilometres away, Fort Delaware State Park is a good place to start. Killens Pond State Park sits 45 kilometres away and is another picturesque spot for some peace and quiet.

Nothing compares to the atmosphere of a live game of baseball! See the Aberdeen IronBirds play on their home ground at Ripken Stadium, an impressive venue 40 kilometres away in Aberdeen.

Alternatively, if the Tilmon's Island Winery and the Crow Farm and Vineyard are more your thing, head 11 kilometres southwest from Massey to Crumpton.

Spend some time wandering around the Historical Society of Kent County Maryland, the Garfield Center for the Arts at the Prince Theater and Wilmer Park.
