But those are pretty standard dishes, and you didn’t come all this way to eat normal stuff, did you? The local markets are the best places to get unique treats like balut. It’s a fertilised duck egg that’s boiled and eaten in the shell. Get one of these bad boys down and you’ll be able to eat anything.

What’s the nightlife like, you ask? In the Angel Tuazon Entertainment District it’s pretty darn good. See if you can keep up with the Filipinos as they cut a rug through the night until the break of dawn.
