In the room, tv was not working. Closet door was not opening. No elevator is the biggest downside of the property. We had to carry all our luggage to 3rd floor. Very less or no chicken options.

Food was bad, they did not have may varieties and they take some tome to fill up if an item is completed. I wanted to get fish, went 3 times and each time the tray was empty but my friends who went in between managed to get some of it. Cleanliness great and its a big size property.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The resort itself is quite large, with lots of different food options to try. However, if you’re booking, make sure you don’t accidentally choose a party room or a room near the party area—you will not get any proper sleep. To their credit, the staff were very understanding and were able to move us to a much quieter room, which we really appreciated. There are two stores at the front of the resort, but everything in them is extremely overpriced. The spa and salon are also not included; you need to book an appointment, and the prices are quite high. One thing to be cautious about is the excursions sold on-site by the Scuba Caribe staff. We had a bad experience with a “2-for-1” ATV deal that ended up being misleading. Once we arrived at the excursion site, we were hit with multiple hidden fees, and the equipment provided was very poor quality unless you paid extra for an upgrade. This definitely took away from the experience and felt like a bait-and-switch. That said, overall I did enjoy my stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean, and staff were very attentive whenever we needed something. For the most part, the food was enjoyable, although after about a week it did start to feel repetitive.

staff was incredible and truly made the stay so much fun! we loved the riu parties. there were plenty of pools to swim in. we also loved the in-room bar. food was okay, but you could live off of it without starving. the beach isn’t swimable but if u walk 10 minutes down there is a swimmable one. also in walking distance of people who do water taxis to swimable beaches. the people on the beach are a tad annoying with selling you things, but we understand it’s their business. in addition to the riu parties they also had different entertainment lined up every night and you could check the schedule on the riu app. overall we had a lovely time and are planning to go back here again!

We love the beach, the pools, the varieties of drinks at the bars, and the friendliness of the staffs. The only complaints are the “specialty restaurants” - i believe management can do better in terms of streamline the lineup/reservation. It is kind of messy with no rules when letting people in, which upset a lot of guests and wasting a lot of time. Buffet quality/choices are acceptable
