Clean room with great amenities - the mini bar was a great treat! Jungle Party on Tuesday was a complete highlight - so much fun!! The swim up bars were excellent, great variety of liquor and beer with great music! Found 2 restaurants with plated dinners, otherwise everything is buffet style. Good food. Great entertainment on the stage with multiple bars centrally located. 2 mile beach walk into Cabo if one feels adventurous!

Boyfriend got food poison from the first dinner not even the Buffett we went to so cold nice course restaurants. Dinner sucked n was dry. So he spent our stay in bed. The bed was terrible you would totally sink in. & we were in the 900’s which was super far from everything. The furthest rooms in the whole place. To make things worse I asked for water at 4 of the bars and could not get some. Went to reception and they said they also couldn’t give me water. Had to have it delivered to the room. So you would have to walk 25 minutes to go get the water n then walk back. An hour to get water. I asked why they couldn’t bring it to the desk and they said we don’t do that. So that’s great to pay for an all inclusive and not be able to get water! Food was pretty crappy and basic as well. Roberto was super nice & funny when checking us in and so were the house keepers. But even they can’t make up to the rest of our stay. They also don’t let Ubers pick people up, they threaten to take their car if they do. Uber cost to car rental $60 pesos. Taxis they force you to take $350! Need to rip you off even on the last minutes. Super Bowl they didn’t prepare the viewing before so we missed a bunch of it and the first half was a play behind from audio. When you promote something you should have set it up ahead of time. They started setting it up when it started. Oh and all the bars around Super Bowl closed until 5. So only the sports bar was open for the entire resort watching the game.

Everything about this resort was great for us! The rooms were clean, no matter where you went. It was only a five minute walk from where we were. I love that there are multiple restaurants to choose from, so many pools, tons of chairs, so you never have to worry about saving unless you want to be front and center. The food was good and the riu parties were really fun. There is always something to do and the shows were good :)

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire complex. Even the bathrooms by the pools/beach were spotless. Lots of staff everywhere that were working hard and friendly. The night entertainment overall was okay... the MJ show was awesome and the live band in the courtyard by the fountain were our favorites of the week. The Riu Santa Fe complex is huge so there is lots of walking. Even with lots of people, it didn't feel overcrowded and we never really had a line-up for food or drinks (except The Mission restaurant was busy and you need to reserve) and there are loads of lounge chairs at the pools and on the beach. It was nice to have a minibar and alcohol in the rooms. You cannot swim at the beach in front of the resort. But a ten minute walk in either direction along the beach and people were swimming. Or a drive to San Jose Del Cabo and there are beautiful beaches for swimming and snorkelling. Downsides - the big pools were too cold and the drinks were very watered down. Overall it was a very good week at this resort.

First time staying at Riu in Cabo San Lucas. Arrived 2/6, leaving on 2/10. Overall, the hotel was clean and the grounds were very well maintained. We had a King Bed which was not very comfortable, and had to request more pillows. The walk from reception at check in to our room was a good almost 15 minute walk. Didn't see any golf cart service or luggage service unless we missed this upon check in. Staff were not very friendly as you walk about the grounds, and the all inclusive restaurants have no reservations. Most of the food was pretty basic, and each of the experiences were similar cafeteria style service and food at each location. David was our only experience of great service heading to breakfast each morning. Just about every eating experience lacked a server seating us, or offering any beverage service. Most seemed ok to see you get up and serve your own drinks and coffee, and on a few occasions our table lacked silverware and/or napkins. The wait service is quick to take plates away from your table though. The pool and amenities were appreciated. We had a message at the spa and the was probably the best part of our stay. Beware Expedia showed us a $700 hotel credit for this booking but turned out to be hotel coupons for different services which required a minimum spend amount to receive a discount. Overall, for being an all inclusive resort, I was hoping the food and service would be a little better. This stay in Cabo was disappointing.

I was skeptical pulling the trigger on this last minute winter getaway. The reviews on the resort were only 8.4. Boy, are they wrong! I give this resort a full on 10!! My only negative would be to have more restrooms on the property. Not enough to drop my 10 rating though. Highly recommend!!!

Resort was great! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, facilities were clean, modern and upkeep was great. Drinks were amazing, views were perfect. The only negative was the food. Restaurant hours were not accurate, not open when they should have been (normal lunch or dining hours) but this may be due to offseason. Food was very bland which is typical of all inclusive. Was here for 5 days 4 nights and it was amazing.
