Mostly everything was good. However, every single morning of our stay the maids would wake us up around 7:30AM banging and yelling and laughing with each other right outside our door. I went out and ask them to quiet down, they proceeded to laugh at me and pretend to not know English. They laughed, chatted and banged around every single morning from 7:30-9:30AM

Property is huge, we got loss, they should put bigger numbers in each building as well on the map they give to costumers, also the road before the entry to the hotel is terrible full of pot holes and dirt, also the airplane charge was 250.00 but it does not include luggage, airport tax, we end up paying 700.00 round trip for two which is ridiculous

I really appreciate the cleanliness and the aesthetic of Hotel Riu Santa Fe. My eyeballs were very amazed at the decor of the place. I also appreciate the dining options that were available. I have to say that this is the 3rd time I have stayed at an all-inclusive in Mexico and this is the first time I’ve been truly impressed with the taste of the food. Very well seasoned and there were very many options. One time, my friend and I really wanted a jello and the staff went above and beyond. The only downside is that there is no room service option. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Overall the experience was disappointing. The food was honestly pretty bad, bland, repetitive, and not what I would expected. On top of that, there were some really unpleasant sewage smells throughout parts of the property, mostly near a main walkway. All of the pools were extremely crowded. the one bright spot was the staff. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, hardworking, and went out of their way to be helpful. Their service was easily the best part of the trip. Unfortunately, great staff alone wasn’t enough to make up for the disappointing food, overwhelming crowds, and the off-putting smells around the resort. You get what you pay for though, I suggest paying a bit more for The Riu Palace, my mother loved that hotel and had access to everything at ours also.
