Our family’s stay at Hotel Riu was extremely disappointing and distressing. We were bitten multiple times by what appeared to be bed bugs or fleas during our stay. When we brought this to the management’s attention, Fernanda Roiza repeatedly insisted it was “mosquitoes,” even after I showed video proof of a small black bug crawling on our skin. Instead of showing concern or investigating, she turned away and dismissed us. To make things worse, our follow-up email about the incident was never answered — no apology, no acknowledgment, and no effort to resolve the situation. The way we were treated was disrespectful and unprofessional. Guests deserve honesty, cleanliness, and safety — all of which this hotel failed to provide. I have videos and photos available if proof is needed. I truly hope management takes this seriously so no other family has to go through the same experience. I will add pictures and screenshots of the bug crawling on our skin in our room. Since I cannot add videos to this review.

Absolutely enjoyed our looong stay here, 10 days. Would like to thank Ivan at reception. I would love to thank a million times to Araceli buffet manager !! The best and most dedicated to making clients happy. Franco from entertainment and Cesar from management. Cannot wait to be be back to see everyone!! The place is clean, safe, amazingly beautiful with unparalleled sunsets. This is our 20th all inclusive. Thank you all the hard working people who have been there to celebrate with us !!!

The staff was great, super friendly and helpful! Food was pretty good and you have a lot of choices. Krystal was our favorite though. Most liquor was not top shelf but if stick to beer and champagne, its great! Would definitely go back!

Property always clean and well maintained, as was the pool and surrounding area. The room was just ok, we woke up to a water leak from the ceiling - dripping from the recessed light. This had obviously happened before due to the maintenance tech stopping the leak with in a couple minutes of seeing the problem. The housing to the light was also rusted. They did not however clean up the water, that was left to us. Also, the portion sizes at for dinners were very small (3 total raviolis at the Italian spot)and unlike other resorts you were limited to 1 entree, which meant there was no way to try other options at each restaurant, even if you didn’t like what was brought. Big bright spot was the wedding coordinator for the wedding we were at the resort for, I think her name was Daniella, personable and made sure everything was great! Server Raul was also incredible, he remembered many of the people in our party from a previous visit and made sure we sat in his section.

We've been staying at the Riu Palace for at least 14 years. We've tried other resorts but none compare! We love all that the Palace has to offer! I think the cleaners must clean 24/7, it's always spotless! Restaurants are good...our favorites were Krystal, the new(er) Mexican Restaurant and the Japanese Restaurant in that order. Italian was our least favorite. The entertainment was the best we've ever heard/seen at the Palace! The two nights of 70's and 80's music, lip-synced by the wonderful staff were our favorites - they did such a great job!!! Everyone was singing along and having a great time! The two guys at the upstairs bar singing and playing their guitars were awesome as well. One night, the bar was packed because of them, and we all yelled for them to keep playing. They did! It was nice having good music and not just the corny shows that we've seen the past 14 years! Nicely done Riu Palace!!!! We will continue as long as we can to visit you 1-2 times a year!

Yes, and the staff was excellent in all the ways you would have expected. This was my first all inclusive resort and first time in Cabo. The only thing I would say was the noise level down on the 1st floor was noisy with systems powering up very early. All in all if was a time to remember!! Thank you all😃!!
