I am formally filing a complaint regarding my recent stay at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, booked via Expedia.
From the beginning, my experience was unacceptable. The resort was advertised as having 9 restaurants, but only 4 indoor air-conditioned restaurants were actually available. My first meal at La Cevicheria was ruined due to flies covering the dining area. La Moderata charged $30 per person per day, which was not disclosed beforehand.
When I tried to clarify, manager Miryam responded rudely and told me to “look for another hotel.” Staff member Michelle raised her voice instead of providing help. Despite requesting to meet the top manager Anna, I was denied access and my written request for contact was ignored. Such behavior from management is unprofessional and shocking.
The hotel’s location also adds extreme inconvenience: guests must walk 15 minutes from the main road, and Uber pickups are prohibited.
This experience was not only disappointing but also damaging to the Grand Fiesta Americana brand. I expect:
1. A written apology from hotel management.
2. Compensation for the misrepresentation and the distress caused.
3. Corrective actions to prevent such treatment of future guests.
If my concerns are ignored, I will share my experience with other travelers to ensure they are aware of the risks of staying at this property.
