I keep returning to HCI because it is clean, safe, and very conveniently located. The room I stayed in needs some fixing, though: clothes hanger closet is too small for shirts to hang down, the sink counter lighting is poor, and the one chair is too short for the desktop. Other than that, a very good facility all around!

The room and bathroom were really small, old and dirty, the towels were dirty I got bites from sleeping on the bed, it says no smoking but on our way to our room always smell like weed, parking lots really small and limited, if you driving a suv or truck you will definitely have hard time parking or find a good parking the only nice thing for us was where was located it was near to the walk of fame and universal studios, after staying there I been wondering why all the reviews saying nice things about the place for my experience I won’t be staying there ever again. Also every time we left our room we came back and find out our ac was turn off we had to call the office and they told us how to turn it back on, it was sucks because it was so hot and we had to wait to cool down

Good place to stay if visiting the Hollywood area

Room was basic; which was fine for our stay. It was found in a good clean condition, stocked with the essentials needed. Nice, clean pool, which we sadly did not get to use. Convenient 5 minute walk away from Target and a few spots to grab food.

Cheap price. Good location to freeways and food. Some room doors including mine had missing weather stripping and the door barely shut completely. A gap between the door and the frame you can see part of the hardware. Not going to hold up if somebody really wanted to get in.

Pros: Location, Location, Location! Block from Hollywood Blvd, close to Grocery store, drug store and a target. Close drive to Universal Studios. Also room had a clean bed sheets. Nice pool on site and convenient free parking. Price was reasonable for the location. Cons: Room is very basic, property is old, no breakfast as advertised on Expedia. Floor was not clean and mattress under the clean sheets looked gross.

The room was clean including the bathroom and shower. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The location very convenient for our purpose and we felt safe. It was a good value and there were no issues.

The room is extremely spacious, a pleasant suprise. The doors do not block out any noises, it is extremely noisy as you can hear (from my room) the noisy ventilating system & guests walking past, shouting, etc. The check in staff were helpful, and the bed was comfy. Fridge, iron, etc all included with the room too.
