Excellent location, very clean, comfortable and food was also excellent, staff friendly and helpful

Great place to stay.The service was really good. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had two rooms both of which were immaculately clean and very comfortable We ate in the bar and the food was tasty they also offered a complimentary breakfast which was excellent I would recommend it and will stay again if we are in the area

Great value for any stay in Chester. Just on the edge of the city so your are no more than a few minutes walk from the centre. Hotel has the benefit of parking spaces. Staff were excellent and so friendly. Ovall look of the hotel good but a few signs of aging. Spa nice enought and the addition of a buffet breakfast makes it a decent hotel.

Excellent stay as usual. Staff are very well trained and deliver excellent service. There was an issue with our aircon and they weren’t sure how long it would take to fix so they moved us to an equivalent room with no trouble or hesitation at all. The hotel and grounds are immaculate, the cleaning and gardening staff must work very hard. We’re only down the road in Liverpool, but try and pop over to doubletree Chester a couple of times a year for special occasions.

Great stay

Only stayed for the night, room was big, clean and comfortable, lovely view of the river. Hotel is a lovely old building with character, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.
