From check in to check out the Staff were fantastic.. The Halyard is a wonderful hotel, spotlessly clean,the rooms were well equipped and airy.. The evening restaurant menu is small,but everything cooked from fresh in the open plan kitchen, and something for everyone on there,our young waitress ( can't remember her name) was a credit to her employers. If i only have one grumble, it was breakfast service, after the continental breakfast was explained, our hot option menu was put on the table,within 2 minutes a waiter was there asking for our order..we hadn't even opened the menu, we asked or more time,he literally came back in 2 minutes for our order. Then we were inundated with 3 staff,topping up juice and asking if we were finished, one waiter even taking my friends plate away( and trying to take mine) whilst i was still eating my breakfast!! I understand breakfast service can be hectic, but please,give your customers chance to look at the menu and enjoy their breakfast.. But thats my take,don't let this put you off,The Halyard is a fantastic hotel, with warm and welcoming staff and super helpful..its a definite return for me.

Had a fantastic night’s stay at The Halyard - wish I had been there for longer! Check in was quick and easy and I was able to get into the room on the 6th floor early. The room was spacious and very comfortable with plenty of hangers and drawer space to unpack. Complimentary drinks in the mini bar were much appreciated. It was quiet and there was no disturbance from other rooms or outside. Lovely smelling toiletries and the corridors event smelled nice - little details that make a stay feel more premium. Room service was reasonably priced and arrived promptly (took around 20 mins at 9pm). Breakfast included a good continental buffet selection and hot dishes too. Service was excellent. Would 100% stay again if I visit Liverpool.

Great stay, the room decor was lovely. Amenities were generous and the layout of room worked well. Complimentary drinks in the fridge, biscuits, tea and coffee etc. Shower was powerful. Complimentary drinks from the bar from the receptions staff was a nice touch too. Would definitely stay again

This is a really lovely hotel in the heart of the Ropewalks district. The design and decor are great, the rooms are spacious and well-thought out and the bathrooms are pristine. I used the gym on the top floor and it is functional and clean with amazing views of the city. All the staff were excellent - friendly, warm, professional. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day - enough variety on the hot menu to keep me from getting bored! Loved the fresh juices and the variety of hot beverages too. Some more variety of fruit on the continental table would be appreciated but this is a very small critique. I had a fabulous week there and look forward to being back!
