The country's capital, Washington, is located 310 kilometres to the south of La Plume.

Break free on a trip to some nearby natural attractions. 40 kilometres out of La Plume, Salt Springs State Park is all yours to discover. Wyalusing Rocks, 45 kilometres away, is another excellent spot to hang out in the outdoors.

Journey 25 kilometres south to PNC Field to see a gripping live game of baseball. Located in Moosic, this stadium is the home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, so don your navy blue, maroon, gold and white and get ready for some fun!

Once you've collected a pass and trail map at Blue Mountain Ski Area, you won't want to waste a second making your way to the summit! You may also like to jump on the chairlift and spend time on the slopes at Camelback Ski Area.
