The evening staff wasn't the friendliest and was a bit abrupt when we were checking in. We stayed for 4 nights on the 2nd day had to tell the front staff that the air conditioner was not working right and hot air was coming out. The male employee said perhaps they could move us to another one later when we came back from our day excursion so this was what we were expecting to happen. Once upon our arrival, another staff perhaps higher up informed me that the air conditioner has been looked at and it should work however it felt the same like warm and stagnant air was coming out. I didn't bother bringing it to the staff again since it didn't do any good the first time but we will not be staying here again. Our next hotel was the same company Vessel Hotel in Nagoya and their air conditioner was very cold and worked well. The breakfast was good with good selection and complimentary drinks and amenities made up for it. All the dryers in Japan are weak and for a load to dry, you will be spending about 300 - 700 yen just fyi. Our stay was hot and humid in our room. It felt like a sauna and not pleasant

The ONLY positive for the property is that it’s located near to a station. Our checking was unique and horrible, they gave pillow, blankets, bedsheets and towels to carry with us to our room. They even said that they wouldn’t do any room service. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a great stay at the Vessel Hotel Campana Kyoto Gojo. The hotel is conveniently located close to Gojo train station and there were plenty of restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The public bath was lovely and we enjoyed the breakfast that had allergens clearly labelled. The staff were friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay again.

Very good hotel. We loved our stay here. Perfectly convenient to all things we needed - accessible to trains, taxi, near 7/11, Fresco and restaurants, hotel staff and amenities were very good. We used their laundry service, foot massager, breakfast service and their utilities… The soaking tub was very good after a long day of walking.

Very nice hotel

Very nice facility, and the rooms are fairly large for Japan. Onsite onsen and laundry are great. The breakfast was very good as well. Conveniently located near subway line and shopping.

We stayed in a Superior Triple Room as a family of four and with one large suitcase, the space was adequate. Two large suitcases might have been tight. The room was nice and clean. The included amenities were great, attractions were either walkable or a station was within a block away, but the best was the staff - very helpful and hospitable.

Hotel was conventinetly located next door to a seven eleven and a train station. My husband forgot his iwatch while staying at the hotel and they were nice enough to send the item to the new city/hotel via carrier. Amazing customer service! Over all 4 starts because the beds were hard and it made our back hurt. The pillows were also hard- as if they had been stuff with hard beads. Really weird.
