The AC in our room did not work. This is the main reason why I rated so low. We asked to change rooms and all they did was send someone up to open our window. We had to close the window to sleep to cut down on the noise and pull the shades down. This made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Aside from the AC, the room was okay. The water pressure was off the charts too. A great location but if you don’t get a good night’s rest it ruins your day.

Conveniently located to lots of shopping, restaurants and public transportation. The station is literally outside the hotel. However, the hotel is a bit dated when compared to other places. It’s clean but again needs modern upgrades to its rooms. Beds were too firm and only gave us a single pillow per bed… heard great things about their restaurant but didn’t try. The dining area is beautiful. If hotel gets updated, this hotel could easily be top notched and easily a 4 hotel.

Loud and uncomfortable

The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable and it’s so loud in the rooms; you can hear the elevator ding all night long plus people talking/service cleaning. I was so happy to be checking out and moving on. We did not rest well during this stay. The only good thing about this hotel is it’s so close to the Kyoto Station.
