However, 30 kilometres away you'll find Shikabe. This area has a small selection of places to stay. These include the Hakodate Onuma Prince Hotel and Shikabe Royal Hotel.

Attractions and Hotels Near Kinaoshi

Sure, you could spend your entire time just in Kinaoshi, but you're gonna have FOMO. For even more amazing memories, you've gotta take a look around Hokkaido's other attractions. Traditional villages are a few popular sights that should be on your gotta-see list. If gorgeous landscapes are more your thing, roam around Kinaoshi's coastal plains, forests, rivers and lakes. Also, don't be shy to try your hand at one or two popular regional pursuits like snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing.

It's well known that Aussies just love to have a good time, so consider chilling out a little longer and going to the River Oyunuma Natural Footbath and Orofure Pass in Washibetsu, 50 kilometres to the north of Kinaoshi. If you're keen to spend a night or two in Washibetsu, look into the Hotel Route-Inn Higashimuroran Ekimae and Dormy Inn Higashimuroran Natural Hot Spring. 85 kilometres to the north of Kinaoshi you can also stay at Toyako, which is home to the Lakehouse At Toyako and Hotel Cocoa.
