We absolutely love staying here—it’s become a tradition for us to return year after year. From the moment we arrive, Cheri always makes us feel so welcome and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect for our stay. The house itself is beautiful, spotless, and so well taken care of—it truly feels like a home away from home. Every detail is thoughtfully provided, and it makes our trips so relaxing and enjoyable. Cheri is one of the kindest and most attentive hosts we’ve ever met, and it’s clear how much she cares about her guests. We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else and are already looking forward to coming back next year!

And all the hotels we’ve ever stayed in this bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in even the bed at home is not comfortable. Room was very nice.

We LOVED our stay and it was so relaxing. We traveled with an infant (5 months) and it went great. The Jacobs were so generous and offered us an early day check-in and late check-out free of charge. The sunrises were EXTRAORDINARY and the property is fully stacked with anything you need but might forget. Ex: we forgot our bug spray and found one on the property! The property is clean, kitchen fully functional and well stocked with cooking/serving wear. Freezer has an ice maker and that was great. Notes for future travelers:- The property is small, think trailer house. So if you have tall/large travelers, this might not be the place for you. My husband managed to be okay, but was not able to be in certain parts of the property.

This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world.

Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out.
