Planning to visit Thalang? Don’t be that boring traveller who won't explore beyond the downtown area (or the local pub/bar). Get out and see what its suburbs have to offer! Karon sits 25 kilometres to the south of Thalang. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport and the jumping off point for your visit. To make your way to the neighbourhood from here, flag down a taxi, travel south for 30 kilometres and enjoy the trip!

This city is bursting with awesome things to do, and you'll uncover many of them near Karon. It's no easy task to pick the best sights, but Patong Beach and the Big Buddha are two you should not miss. Don't forget to put Promthep Cape and the Chalong Temple on your checklist too.
