Good location to walk into Winchester centre. Breakfast buffet was good, although could have been hotter. Staff helpful, although it would have been nice to have been offered our VIP access benefit.

Easy check in good location for short walk to centreof Winchester, good size room. Bed was comfortable, the pillows though really not a good quality, pretty flat and we both slept poorly as a result. Room was kind of noisy, upstairs were heavy footed and we heard every step, haha. Staff that we interacted with were very nice. Struggled to get through to room service for a hour, however they did provide a hearty caesar salad within 30mins of taking the order. All in all, not great, but not bad either.

Asked for a quiet room, receptionist very good about it.got to the room ,very nice it was got half my packing out when I heard extractor outside the window. Went back to reception and told him no problem. We have another room which was the first floor got my stuff of it to the room first didn’t take much notice of it. Got the rest and it wasn’t till I was putting it all out that I realised the room felt different. I then discovered I was facing the car park. Just left me with the reception door so there’ll be more in an hour traffic through there for most of the night. I just couldn’t be bothered to go back to reception. I just accepted the fact the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I decided to leave a day early saying I had an appointment at. . The staff were excellent. The breakfast was very good. However the room was disappointing. The velux windows were frosted giving us no view of anything. There were smells coming from the drains. The shower was leaking. The bathroom was not clean. The A/C was not working.

The first room we were given had 2 hooks where the bathroom mirror should have been. Lamp above the full length mirror had no bulb in it. Credit to the reception, we were given another room as so aw we told them about it. I just think these things should be fixed after checking the room is ready for new customers. Not what I expect from a 4 star hotel.
