Staying at The Stay Bosphorus was an absolute dream, a perfect blend of Istanbul’s old-world charm and refined, modern luxury. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the stunning design, the unbeatable location, and the gracious warmth of the staff. Nestled right on the edge of the Bosphorus in the heart of Ortaköy, the hotel offers unparalleled views of the water and the iconic Bosphorus Bridge. Waking up to that view felt like living in a postcard, peaceful, magical, and deeply inspiring. The rooms are a true masterpiece: tastefully designed with high ceilings, soft textures, and a calming aesthetic that blends comfort with elegance. Every detail, from the linens to the lighting, is carefully curated to create a space that is both soothing and sophisticated. The staff were simply outstanding. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and cared for. Every request was met with a smile, and their local knowledge made exploring the area a delight. Special thanks to Kivane and furhan! Breakfast each morning was a highlight, beautifully presented, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Whether enjoying it on the terrace with a breeze from the Bosphorus or in the cozy dining room, it felt more like a curated experience than just a meal. The Stay Bosphorus is more than a hotel, it's a sanctuary. A place where time slows down, beauty surrounds you, and every moment feels meaningful. I can’t wait to return!

Nice, well located boutique hotel.

Nice boutique hotel, well located right on the Bosporus. Rooms are quite small, and those facing towards the bridge can be a little noisy at weekends from the beat of a nightclub. Staff very friendly and breakfast excellent.

I was incredibly disappointed. The place needs a remodel and a new lobby. The staff is kind and trying their best, but it's definitely not more than a 3-star hotel. It's outdated and dirty. I would not return until they remodel and clean the place with bleach.

This hotel is a gem located right along the Bosphorus. Easy access to the ferry, solid dining options and walkable destinations abound. Couple of things to note... 1. Road access to the hotel is limited by time of day, and is routinely pedestrian only. This means that you will likely need to carry bags to / from the hotel from the main road (about 75 meters). 2. There is a night club somewhere close to the hotel that plays house music (thumping bass) until about 2am on weeknights and 4am on weekends, so ask for a room on the opposite side.

Great location but note that the street is pedestrian only. You must walk to the corner for a taxi. The views are great and the property attractive. On both stays however the front desk staff were nice but a little unhelpful.

Excellent stay! A great area for markets, cafes, bars and the pier to get to the Asian side/Galata/Besiktas! Yes the clubs nearby are loud but personally it didn’t bother us Just be aware that taxis won’t drop off near there late in the evening due to the busy area with bars etc so you may need to walk from further down

The hotel is lovely and located right on the Bosporus. There is a ferry right next door. LOur room was clean and comfortable with many luxurious touches. We had a terrace with a partial view of the water. Breakfast was incredible - great food but way more than anyone could possibly eat. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful - only one person at the front desk unhelpful getting a dinner reservation and then just escorting us to the curb when I asked him to call a taxi. I flagged one down myself. Everyone else was wonderful. My only warning is that the once lovely square with the view of the charming mosque has been taken over by loud rip- off restaurants and fast food chains. Cross the busy shore toad and walk in two or three blocks away from the water and there are lots of great local restaurants in the backstreets.
