Good hotel with good location. Overall great experience. Friendly staff, scenic breakfast terrace. Rooms were overall clean, except for stinky bathroom.

The hotel could do with a little work however it was in the most amazing spot for exploring Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The rooms we had were great for what we needed, a comfy bed, warm shower, tea and coffee and aircon. Breakfast buffet was served on the terrace and the views over the Bosphorus were great plus also a view of the blue mosque. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby along with a few supermarkets. We would stay again here. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again

I stayed there with my family and all of us enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendand helpful. We opted for breakfast which i think i would recommend if you are interested in local cuisine and enjoy Turkish style breakfast. The place it self is close to all popular destinations and walkable distance to tram station where you can take tram to Eminou/Sirkici station for Ferries (asian/Bosphorus tour). I will definitely recommend this hotel especially if you want to stay central and its your first time in Istanbul.

This hotel is in close proximity to blue mosque and Hagia Sofia and the coastline. Restaurants, shops and access to transport are excellent. Staff are very friendly, caring and have knowledge of locality. They provided us with tourist guide booklets.

Room spacious but very dark, felt like you trapped in the box , breakfast ok if you come first at 8 am if you come later there is very poor choice just boiled egg , jam , olives and bread, if you ask for something they always says finished, don’t have anymore, although they do. Have to give 5* for cleaning. Would not go back to this hotel and this area, Area very expensive, lots of restaurants and very annoying people every time you pass they attacking you with invites to come and eat.

Close to the big mosques but you will have to walk about a kilometer from the tram station. Staff were great and room was nice. Loved the jet bathtub and glad I sprung extra for that room.

Nihail de Malatya & Sara at the khavalte teras provided a delicious breakfast, & were the kindest, friendliest hosts that you could meet. The building owner needs to fix the room(s) w/ poor draining ASAP, as the odor is unpleasant. No rate discount offered when reported to reception.
