I hope this review warns people so they don't have to experience what I did. I chose this hotel because my flight was coming in late. I wanted something close to the airport and this one had good reviews.
I got in at 1:00am. The desk attendant was very nice. My first room had more than a little hair on the mattress pad (I always pull the sheets back to check for cleanliness and bedbugs) and a large bug on the wall. I asked for a different room. She apologized and accommodated. My second room was worse. Hair (from different body parts) and all kinds of I don't know what on the mattress pad and mattress. There was hair on the bathroom counter, in the sink, and hanging from a towel. I was honestly concerned about bedbugs (with the lack of cleanliness I felt the concern was valid) so though it was now 2:00am, I tried to find a different hotel. Everything was booked.
I ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed on top of the covers with towels as blankets. It was supposed to be a two-night stay, but when I woke up I packed my bags and asked them to release me from my reservation. On my way to the desk I saw a housekeeper sitting in a room on her phone, which explains a lot. Again, the person at the desk was so apologetic and incredibly kind, and accommodated my request.
I only got about 3 hours of sleep (my room was right next to the expressway, so very loud). This is an older hotel, which wouldn't have bothered me if it was clean. Nice desk people, horrible housekeeping!
