Book Houghton hotels

The stay was a wonderful experience. The cottage was exactly as advertised. Communication with the owner was excellent. Our only regret was that we planned to stay only one night. We look forward to a return visit.

Exactly as pictured. So calm and peaceful. About 20 min to ellicotville. My only recommendation is to bring extra pillows and make sure you have a car that can make it up the gravel driveway. Really great stay. Very clean as well. Would come back!

Clean room, friendly staff, good coffee, breakfast was okay (just continental)

This was first time using Vrbo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However my expectations, were far exceeded. When we first arrived, the host was extremely friendly, and noted places to go and eat. When we arrived at the cabin, it was exactly how it looks in the pictures. He, once again explained everything in detail how allof it works. The host was very informative. The cabin it self was great, and private. The only noise we heard was the water going downstream. There was a train, nearby. However we barely heard it, and didn’t affect how we slept. The cabin was extremely warm with the wood stove. The host was always there if needed but left us to be. The bathroom situation may seem, uncertain at first. But was very simple to use, and it never smelled! Overall if you want a cozy, warm , romantic, simple place to getaway. This would be the place to be. We will definitely be back.
