Dead bedbugs under mattress, ripped blankets, very dirty - called to report late check in and he said we were fine til midnight got there at 11:45 and nobody was there. Called the owner who said to ring a bell which was hidden behind a rock. The place smelled very badly like cigarette smoke and marijuana, and then I picked up the mattresses and saw dead bedbug carcasses. We immediately left but we had brought our things inside already. We may be infested from that 10 minutes. And when we went to the gas station and said we had to leave the hotel and needed an alternative, he nodded like it was an everyday occurrence. He sent us to Microtel and they said all 25 rooms they had were $175 per night. We are driving back to Ohio. You had better believe Expedia higher ups will receive calls about even having a place so horrifying on your site.

It needed a really good cleaning

The bedding appeared to be clean but the bathroom was filthy the floors were dirty and had hair on them. They needed to be swept and mopped. Half the lights and fan didn't work in the bathroom. The smoke detector was missing. The floors were sticky and needed mopped and i pulled out the bedside stand to get to the plug and there was dirt and dead bugs behind it. The manager was a super nice guy thats the only good thing i can say.

This is a nice quiet motel in a very small community. The owner went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. Offered suggestions for dining, offered to help with luggage, and ensured we were comfortable. The rooms are very dated, but the friendliness and kindness of the owner more than makes up for it! AC was cold, fridge was great to have, and the bed and pillows were absolutely perfect! Keurig coffee in the lobby with fresh creamer was always available, which was a wonderful amenity! Just a short 30 minute drive to Letchworth State Park (Grand Canyon of the East) is a must do! Kudos to the owner, he is a real gem!!

There are very few hotel/motels in the area. The room was fine and the location okay, but there could have been a few things done to up-keep the property: the grass around the facility sign was overgrown and the property just had a bit of "unkemptness" to it...
