The room we had, had a smell, not sure if it was the carpet, so we kept the balcony doors open at all times, it helped.

The property is RUN DOWN terribly. VERY dirty. I took pictures of the MOLD in the shower. (we purchased cleaning supplies from the ABC store across the street, to CLEAN it ourselves) The "carpet" is indoor outdoor carpet from the 70's. So dirty you can't walk on it barefoot! NO microwave. We ASKED for one, we were told they would bring one, after the SECOND day we asked again. We NEVER did get the microwave! Other people complained about a VARIETY of things. We wanted to cancel and get a refund, they REFUSED any refund, so we were stuck in the Hellhole of a Hotel. This facility should be REMOVED from ANY Reputable Travel site!

Location was great! Everything was walking distance. Rooms need to be upgraded, definitely didn’t look like the pictures. We had flying termites in our room that came out of nowhere. We had to get switched to another room. Sheets need softener they smell pretty bad. Only thing I liked was the location other than that wouldn’t stay here again. Staff were nice and friendly.

This hotel is right in the center of Waikiki and only minutes away from the beach. Multiple places to eat, drink, and shop all around the hotel. The rooms are large and beds are comfy. The cultural aspect is unique with the louvres over the windows and doors. The only downsides to this is that it lets noise in. No breakfast or airport shuttle was also inconvient, however, overall a very nice bang for your buck.

Our floor upon check in was dirty. Tub was dirty drain was clogged. No towel to do dishes or soap parking wasn’t an option it’s a nice location close to beach

Disappointed

Our booking was for 2 standard rooms with kitchen and microwave. Upon arrival, we were disappointed that the 2 rooms have no kitchen, no cutlery, no cups/mugs, no tea or coffee. One of the rooms does not even has a microwave. When mentioned to the hotel staff, we told told that our booking was for standard room and it doesn't come with kitchen. I showed her the photos on hotels.com site showing the stove in the standard room, she has no answer. The other room that has no microwave has a mirror that was fixed so low that you have to bent to see your face. Wardrobe has no door. Dead roaches were found in the room. Aircon was very loud, noisy and cold. Air con doesn't have a remote control. So we have to climb on the chair to control the temperature and turn off the aircon. On the positive note, one of the men staff was very helpful. He stayed behind after work hour to wait for my brother in law to pick up his bag containing his passport as he left it accidentally at the hotel. Overall, we will not stay at this hotel again.

Decent hotel

The room was very bare-bones. It was clean and we didn't see any bugs (although they put a note on our door that they were spraying the next day), but there was only one sheet for the pull-out couch and the pillows were pretty bad. We didn't spend much time in the hotel room so we didn't use the pool. We were charged for amenities, and when I asked what it covered, I was told the shampoo and towels. We had to park at the post office for over $50/night. On the last night, there was a major fight outside our room. Domestic violence I suspect, and the screaming went on for 45-60 minutes. The hotel was close to Waikiki Beach which was nice, and it was very inexpensive for a hotel in Hawaii.
