With around 5,000 people living in the city, get ready to rub elbows with some friendly locals. Once you've landed at New Chitose Airport and grabbed your suitcase from the conveyor belt, Hirafu is a drive of 75 kilometres to the west. From the city centre, it's 7 kilometres northeast.

With many of the city's leading attractions nearby, Hirafu is heaven for sightseers. From Niseko Mountain Resort Grand Hirafu to Niseko Village, you won't run out of things to keep you occupied.
