Great hotel in central Helsinki. Finding parking can be very tricky so be warned if you come by car. Short walk to all sights and shopping. Do try the open air pools and sauna nearby!

Excellent but a couple of negatives

Fantastic hotel and well located with really friendly staff. Only 2 little niggles - restaurant and bar closed on Sundays (how mad), and mattress slides off single bed because sheet is too small to tuck in. Otherwise, excellent.

Comfortable and great location.

Great location. Room was very quiet. Hands-down the best hotel breakfast we've ever hard -- truly amazing! The only reason I rated this hotel a 4 is that our room was unbearably hot, even though it was cool outside. When I asked about it, I was told that the A/C is controlled centrally and that you can slightly adjust it using a gizmo on the wall, but it didn't work. You can't open the windows, either. It was too warm even to sleep with blankets. Overall, it was very good for a 2-night stay.

Great location, nice hotel

For us this was a great location very close to the ferry terminal and convenient to transport services and tourist locations. Our room very comfortable and we enjoyed the meals at the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Good hotel - very warm room

I chose the hotel because it is very close to the Viking Line ferry terminal. The hotel is fine - good size rooms, quiet, and good breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and gave great suggestions for restaurants and using public transport. The only problem we had was the room was quite warm even though the thermostat was set at the lowest possible temperature. The front desk folks did provide a portable fan that helped.

Nice classy hotel. The rooms aren't' spectacular and a little out of fashion, but we took the upgrade for an in-room sauna that was great once we figured out how to use it. They also have a downstairs communal sauna.
