Would have been great it the water park was open but it was being painted. Also the only bar in the hotel was in the pool/spa area which we werenโ€™t allowed in because my husband had a small tattoo on his shoulder. Apart from a Chinese restaurant and a 7/11, there are no other options within walking distance.

Check if Oiso Long Beach is open during your stay first. I did not. Rooms are slightly dated but still nice. The location is nice to look at but not so great for those without a car. The nearest public transport is a bus and thats 10 minutes away and another 10-15 to the train station. Food outside the hotel is also a 10 minute walk, but the food inside the hotel is good. Try their take out for way cheaper prices. Staff here will struggle with english, but they will try hard. Last, it feels like the hotel is not meant to be walked to or out of by design so eating in becomes more favorable.

We stayed 3 nights on the top floor 10, labelled as premium floor. It has a great view of the ocean. Excellent condition of the property, it is thoroughly modernised and well maintained. Service quality is great. Very pleasant stay. You may not have convenient public transport. Should have a car. The restaurants in the property isnโ€™t that great in my opinion.

The staff are terribly unfriendly and went out of their way to make our stay WORSE. For example, we asked if they had a microwave, โ€œNope, we donโ€™t have one on the property.โ€ Really? How many rooms are there here, and you donโ€™t have a microwave anywhere? โ€œActually, we donโ€™t let guests use it, but just this onceโ€ฆโ€ Seriously? Itโ€™s a thirty second inconvenience. Also, about that family friendly pool?โ€œNo kids under 14 allowed.โ€ Want to enjoy the onsen with the kids? โ€œNo kids under 5 allowed.โ€ My adviceโ€” if you hate yourself, customer service, and especially kids, this is the place for you! Otherwise, STEER CLEAR OF THIS AWFUL HOTEL

Not for vegetarian beach-loving folks.

The hotel is OK but there is little to recommend it. Not having vegetarian or vegan options is not a surprise, but being 100% unable to accommodate was very disappointing. The beach is horrendous.

Great hotel with great amenities & views!

A grand hotel with a great thermal spa, saunas, onsen & infinity pool. The view of the Pacific Ocean is a must. An added bonus was an unrestricted view of Mt. Fuji from one end of the infinity pool. My only complaint was the pillows they provided; one was too hard & thick while the other was too soft & thin. I also thought the restaurants were a little pricey. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I liked the great location of the Hotel although Covid led to the closure of some facilities I feel the hotel could be trying harder. Great bed and comfortable pillows (...pillows that I would have been willing to buy and take home with me )..a suggestion I made to the staff upon checkout about selling the pillows to guests...but I have a feeling this won't happen unfortunately. If the khotel follows my suggestion I would love to know.Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would go back again.
