Really nice beach with reef to block high waves/seaweed. Pool was decent with swim up bar. Staff were all very nice. Facilities are aging but they’re upgrading every year. Our room was recently remodeled and very nice. Food was just OK, nothing spectacular but enough.

Cons: -original room and its location -must get up early for beach lounger (NLT 6am) -must wait in line to reserve restaurants which takes about 45 minutes to an hour -onsite shop is ridiculously expensive, buy from the people in the beach -they advertise a spa, tennis courts and putt-putt. Those things don’t exist. They are run-down. This didn’t affect our vacation, but it’s worth noting. We were in the wrong room for 3 of our 5 day stay. We paid for a king balcony superior and we were in a standard room because they sold out. The standard room was above the disco (4 floors above) and the music kept us up every night from 10:30 to 3am. It was unbelievable loud. We could inly stare at each other in disbelief. This was in building P. The shower water was cold and the fridge was warm. Once they moved us all was good. The superior rooms are well worth it. Pros: -the beach -the food -the staff -the atmosphere (no rowdy, rude or drunk people) it never felt over crowded -pool bar and pool The staff was awesome. We never waited for anything. Drinks were good. We tipped a dollar or two here and there and they remember you and take care of you. We probably spent $40 -$50 in tips between the maid, the porters, meals and the bar. The food was good. Surprisingly good for an all-inclusive. We ate at 3 restaurants and they were all great. Mediterranean was our favorite. We went to enjoy a quiet beach vacation,with good drinks and food. We got just that. I would be happy to visit again

Excellent vacation in a great location, the sea was clean and warm and even when the weather changed, the waves crashed on the reef which is right opposite, friendly staff and normal food, which on the weekend even surprised with its variety of seafood, the rooms need more furniture but in general it is good, the bathroom has been recently renovated. We will definitely come back.

A Nightmare for Our Family – Health Risks Our stay at Coral Costa Caribe was a disaster that endangered our 4-month-old baby’s health and left us fighting for a refund. Before arriving, I contacted guest services to book a taxi from Punta Cana airport, an hour away, since the hotel offers no free transfers or paid options. Siudersy T. confirmed our arrival details, assured me a taxi would be waiting, gave me the cost, and provided a phone number. We landed—no taxi. The number didn’t work. With a baby in tow, we had to scramble for a ride ourselves. At the hotel, it got worse. The room’s refrigerator was broken, a critical issue because our baby depends on pumped breast milk that must stay cold. This isn’t optional—it’s life-or-death. Spoiled milk could sicken him, and we couldn’t take that chance. I called the front desk immediately. A maintenance guy came, opened the fridge, touched the plugged-in cord, and said it’d work in 40 minutes. Hours later, nothing. We called again; they promised a supervisor. Hours passed—no one. We went to the front desk, desperate, and got “don’t worry, maintenance is coming.” They refused to switch rooms, claiming they were fully booked. No one showed. At midnight, I had to beg the bar for ice to keep the milk safe. We had 6 nights left and were already done. The next day, no one showed up. We left property. Food is really bad, place is very crowded, small outdoor area, all siting is occupied by smokers. Some rooms have no balconies.

On arrival, which was late, but i did tell them i would be late, they told me they had no rooms available and i would have to go to a nearby hotel for the night. This caused distress and finally they said they found a room and would tidy it quick. The room was not what i paid for and not clean, i dont think they even changed the bedding. As it was so late i went to sleep anyway. Woke up in the morning to find there were no towels. Went to reception the next day and got told my room is fully booked so they would upgrade me but i had to wait another day. The next day they gave me a new room. The shower head was broken making it like a water fall and spraying everywhere, the balcony door on ground floor could not be closed properly or locked, the remotes for the ac and tv were not working. The only thing they did about that was replace batteries in 1 remote. Food was the same every day, with hard potatoes and more fat on the meat than meat itself. Not enough sunbeds for the amount of rooms. Loads of mosquitos, probably due to the amount of trees and greenery. Nothing around the area so could only book trips through reps in hotel which is quite expensive. And, the onsite shop was expensive to. A handful of staff were nice but majority didnt really care about the guests. Im sure there was plenty more but im just trying to forget now, worst hotel i have ever been to.

Loved the staff, the Dominican people are very kind! The attentions are very good, friendly people! The shows every night were spectacular! I loved the most the coffee bar! The problem was the room: the air conditioner was pretty bad, didn’t work properly and it smelled to humidity, my recommendation: do not book the cheapest room ever! The property also needs more beach chairs lounge at the beach and the pool.

The resort itself was also disappointing. Due to overcapacity I had to wait 2 hours after check in for a room. There were no beach chairs available by 8 AM, and the beach area is small. The food was bland and lacked variety. Cockroaches around the food area. The drinks were watered down and they would hide the good bottles to trick you into paying for "premium" alcohol. The customer service was terrible, the management was rude, and the overall experience was nothing like what I’ve come to expect from other resorts.
