I booked this hotel for convenience, as it was the nearest airport to the airport with the best shuttle schedule. In this regard, it was accurate.
When it comes to convenience about other things, I was let down. First of all, I emailed the hotel to ask about the shuttle weeks before, they did not reply. On the day of my arrival, I sent 2 more messages before I got a reply.
When I got checked in, my room was a bit cold and I asked about the heating, etc. I flagged there was only cold air coming out of the vents, reception told me to wait for 20 mins (bear in mind this was after 10pm at night and I had to travel the following morning). I did wait, and of course there was no change, so I had to raise the issue again. Long story short, the most helpful person in the hotel was one lovely man from housekeeping - I’d give him more than 5 stars. And yes, the reception staff did try to resolve the issue but my complaint is they didn’t take my issue seriously early enough, so I ended up going to bed much later than I planned after a trip to reception, etc. the convenience I looked for wasn’t there.
