The hotel is gated and within walking distance to University of Florence. You need to walk at least 10 minutes to find a good restaurant or take the Tram to downtown.
Staff were attentive. Breakfast was minimal in comparison to what we experience in other parts of Italy and Europe. Very basic. Facility gate was locked when we arrived by Uber but we got buzzed in.
This was a quick overnight stay as we had an early flight from airport but we were very pleased with the excellent service from the front desk upon checkin and all the restaurant staff. The top floor room was clean and spacious and we loved how the windows fully opened with a nice view to the city.
Perfect place to stay prior to next day flight. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Only improvement would be to have a shuttle to the airport, however the staff ensured we had a taxi when needed for departure.
Great hotel, staff polite and helpful. Lovely looking building inside and out.
Watch the tiles on the bedroom floor as slipped over very badly on them (it hurts!)
Bathroom tiles no bother at all!
Ate in the bar, excellent service by lady behind the bar.
Room was lovely (besides the slippy tiles). Comfy bed and we had shutters and a balcony. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours (a very loud snorer next door) but fortunately managed to sleep okay. The walls are supposedly soundproofed.
If you’re driving we got confused by the ZTL signs which show before the hotel but the staff assured us they are out of the zone and these signs are to do with emissions on old cars.
Staff was very helpful in letting me know what bus to take to visit downtown Florence. Also, plenty of spots for parking which was great. Dining food was delicious although a little expensive.
We needed to stay another night and the hotel was completely booked but the reception staff went above and beyond to make it happen!
Wonderful place to stay.
The mattress was very comfortable, and room very clean, with good organization for storage. Only problem was the temperature. It stayed at 24C (too warm) no matter what we did with the thermostat.
We had a great time during our stay! The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. However, the rooms aren’t very soundproof (or maybe they’re just really loud) my husband and I were woken up by our neighbors who were, let’s just say enjoying themselves a bit too loudly well past midnight lol, it was hard to ignore the moaning and banging on the walls. If you’re traveling with kids, you might want to turn up the TV for some extra noise cover! Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely LOVED this hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and walked all over the historic district of Rome. Service was fantastic and we loved the breakfast too, although only had it one of the 3 days as we were busy. The room is small, but very clean and absolutely beautifully decorated in a historic way. Driving is limited in this area, but there is a taxi stop just across the courtyard which was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay. Safe and protected by the private gates
I stayed here for one night before returning home after a two-week trip to Italy. The proximity to the airport was fantastic, a less than 10 minute drive. The hotel did a wonderful job of arranging a taxi for my very early morning departure (4:30 am).
The room was small, but clean. I was surprised that there were no outlets near the bed and was very thankful I'd packed an extension cord. It was the first time I used it on the trip.
I was unable to get the air conditioning below 78 degrees in the room, so it was quite warm.
The neighborhood was very flat and walkable, however there isn't a lot to see or do nearby.
