This is a bed and breakfast style hotel located in an old residence (with some fascinating history). The vibe is “19th century diplomat’s compound” which a lot of people will love and some may not. It’s definitely not conventional in any way, but it’s an ornate and distinctive building located walking distance to the city center. Staff was also great. If you don’t like boring sterile hotels, this is your place.

The hotel is situated in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, convenient for walking to the historical core, bonus point - very tasty breakfast and friendly staff for our family of four with two little kids to enjoy our stay!

Overall a nice hotel, a lot of stairs to climb to get to our room at the end of the day(60). But I realize it's a very old building.

We stayed here before, about 25 years ago. It seemed exactly the same, but now with Wi-Fi. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Typical villa style hotel with lovely period room with a small balcony overlooking garden All of the Staff were incredibly helpful and the location was very quiet with few tourist yet only a very short walk to the Duomo

We had an amazing stay - the service was great, the room was large and very quiet, bed extremely comfortable, everything was kept very clean and breakfast was also excellent...would highly recommend Vila Liana

The hotel is very pretty. All the people were so nice and accommodating. They made us cappuccinos with our breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone

The location is walkable from a lot of tour attractions. The building has a lot of history, thus it may be unfair to compare this property with other new and model hotel. But the property still need a lot of upgrade. Depends on your preference. The staffs are nice.

The property is just beautiful. My room was large, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel had beautiful old details everywhere and the furniture in my room looked to be antiques. Everything about my stay was wonderful.

The lock was broken, but the problem was quickly fixed. There were also problems with the hairdryer. very small parking lot. Breakfast was ok. Quite far from attractions. Towels and linen are clean and rooms are cleaned. There is no elevator, so if you have to carry large luggage on yourself
