It's situated 280 kilometres north of Lisbon District, the capital city of Portugal.

Keep your eyes open for seashells to add to your collection at home or try to spot small animals like jellyfish and crabs at Redonda Beach and Live Beach. You'll find these attractive stretches of coastline 55 kilometres and 70 kilometres away, respectively.

You'll discover a number of lovely natural attractions just outside of Favões. Why not make your way 45 kilometres to Parque Natural do Alvao? Alternatively, explore the sights and sounds of Termas de Sao Pedro do Sul Hot Springs, 45 kilometres away.
