The property is relaxing, beautiful, and historical. Every guest I talked to remarked how it was stress free environment and a place to rejuvenate ourself. My party felt like it was camping without a tent. (We grew up camping, but do to our age we prefer beds). You can day trip or relax on the property. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Loved the contactless check-in…really streamlined the process. Older but well kept and convenient to the highway without being noisy. Our room and bathroom were tight but had everything we needed and were comfy. We couldn’t get the WiFi to connect but we were ready to head to bed so I did what I needed using my mobile service.

The location of this home is stunning! Was a perfect location for a vacation with our family! Communication was easy and fast! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again.

The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. Rent cabin 7 if you want a dock and to go fishing. They are dog friendly. Make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap for the shower. Towels were provided. Fridge and stove were just enough. It was a nice place to rest for a few days! It's close to St. Ignace and the attractions there.

Nice secluded beach with lots of nature; the stair down to the beach is steep. Fun swimming beaches and attractions nearby. A bit of highway noise since the house is right off the main road with lots of semis, but also easy access. The metal bunk beds were too squeaky and hard for sleeping. The house had most of the basic kitchen tools we needed (there is now a can opener) and it was clean.
