Elmsford Winery Accommodation

The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the parking was convenient. What I liked most was that the property was quiet and relaxing. One thing I didn’t like was that the key had to be changed often. Sometimes I would come back from walking or going out, and the door would not open, so I had to return to the front desk again. That was a little frustrating. Overall, it was still a good stay.

Very nice room, facilities, late night hot food available, Starbucks coffee, dog friendly, small doggy pen in back, easy and plentiful parking.

The hotel was clean but the breakfast was very limited

The room was nice. It was clean pretty basic standard hotel room. The breakfast was good as far as a free breakfast comes the one thing that really threw me off was the pool. It felt very odd to just have my two kids my husband and myself in the pool while I'm very anxious kid was probably about 20 was just watching us swim. It felt kind of voyeuristic to be honest besides that it was fine. I think it just doesn't make sense that kids under 18 can't go in there without a parent, but there's also a very anxious and nervous lifeguard, but besides that good time and I don't regret staying there.

Comfortable setting and ample parking

We really liked this place and would definitely stay here again! We specifically searched for a modern, clean hotel at a reasonable price that also offered free on-site parking for our trip to NYC. Since we were renting a car, the parking situation was a major factor for us, and we quickly found that almost none of the surrounding hotels in Long Island City offered free parking. If they did have parking, it was usually $25–$35 per night and sometimes located off-site several blocks away. The LY Hotel checked every box for us, and we actually enjoyed our stay enough that we extended it from one night to two. The rooms were modern, spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our first night by chance, was in a handicap-accessible room, which had a noticeably larger bathroom than the standard room we stayed in the second night. The standard bathroom was definitely on the smaller side, so larger guests may find it a bit tight. On a minor note, there were no microwaves in the rooms although I beleive one was available to guests in the lobby and there were no luggage stands in the rooms which are always helpful. What really stood out, though, was how friendly and accommodating the staff was throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, the LY Hotel turned out to be an excellent choice for our trip. For the price, cleanliness, free parking, and overall experience, we honestly felt it was one of the best values in the area.
