Very basic and very small. EasyHotel room was noisy at night with traffic outside. Nowhere to hang clothes or unpack your bag. Location was the only positive. Everywhere was within easy walking distance and transport links close by. Lot of dust up high on the coving around ceilings, could do with a proper clean. We had a 3 night stay, but we only went back to the room to sleep at nights. Paid a little extra for the room with a view and it was a great view of Edinburgh castle. Still felt like a prison cell with an aeroplane sized toilet/shower room. Blinds didn't keep the light out, but still preferable to one of the many rooms without a window. Was ok for our trip, but I don't think I'd stay there again

Good for one person not couples

If you was a solo traveller and not a couple needing more than one bag room of space, then great but for us the pictures don’t make it a true representation of the hat you get, shower and bed wasn’t big enough for two people really especially to be comfortable.

Great views

Room was small, but what we expected. We weren't planning on spending much time in the room anyways. Had an amazing view of the castle. Staff were accommodating with check in and helped bring our bags up the stairs.

Definitely overpriced a

The hotel has a large flight of steps to enter no lift so have to carry luggage up these precarious steps. The room ( double???) was more like a cupboard. The bed was the smallest double actually it was more like a single and no room around it pushed right up against 3 walls . No chair well there was no room . The shower about 2 feet round in diameter. The view was fantastic of the castle and the staff were lovely but it was the most uncomfortable hotel I have ever stayed in and I’ve visited over 100 countries. The cost was unjustified. Yes good location but surrounded by homeless addicts

So the room and shower room was very small. Very small in the sence very small. And the price is high for it. But the view is amazing. And privacy wise as it has got 4 big windows is very bad!

The staff were helpful and considerate, and did a great job. The room was basic, and while that’s reflected in the price, and the bed was comfortable enough, the quality of the facilities could and should be better. Fine if you don’t need anything but a place to sleep though.

Immediately started getting whats up scams after filling out their paperwork on check in. Offered to store our bags but they did not have change to pay in cash. Seemed offended when we wanted to pay card instead. Rooms are small but we knew that, good for a night just be careful with what they do with your info

I liked that the staff were very friendly and helpful and that I was able to store luggage before and after my stay for a small cost. I also appreciated the humble nature of the room and how cozy it felt. However, we were led to believe there would be soap and shampoo and there was only hand soap, also the TV didn’t work so we had nothing to do when in the room.

Although we had no idea what to expect with the compact room layout (it was a total surprise!), the room was clean. Staff were very helpful. The walk up to our room (no elevator) was difficult after a long day of sightseeing. Glad our room was on the first floor! We will definitely stay at an EasyHotel again.
