Friendly, helpful staff.

Some problems with wifi but the night staff were excellent and took care of it. Lovely cleaning staff as well. Would definitely stay again.

On first arrival, the receptionist was very helpful in sorting me a room out, as I was there well before the stated check-in time, which was very helpful. The room itself was not of a great standard and didn't feel like a 3 star hotel, with no carpets at all a big surprise and the tiled floors made it feel as though it was like a PE changing room. Despite appearances though, when it came to it, I had one of the best nights sleeps I've ever had in a hotel and when you're not spending much time there, except for sleeping, that's about the best you can ask for!

Short business trip

Short trip to visit the exhibition centre - Small hotel with basic but adequate facilities. Staff friendly and easy to get around using My Taxi or the local trams. 35 minute walk or 10 minute cab to the main bar area near the Rhine.

My booking was dumped at 3 pm on the day of arriva

My booking was cancelled at 3 PM on the day of arrival. The reason given was credit card was not right, I used the same card for booking Bahn and tradeshow tickets it was working fine. Also, lets assume there was a problem in billing same should have informed at earliest when or if the transaction was declined not wait till 3 pm.I must add the gentlemen at reception did help me find an alternative hotel but then those options wasn't worth the money I spent. I ended a love living in a miniature room with no time to find better one. I think hotel should hold up to some ethics of not dumping tourist at the last minute

Conveniently located hotel for the railway station

Arriving late I had no issues finding the hotel or checking in. The room itself was spacious and clean. Even though I didn't have breakfast at the hotel I did enjoy a free cup of tea in the morning before checking out.

Great B&B rather than hotel

Everything clean and working, staff speak good English but patient with my rusty German as I needed to practice. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. Only downside was had to go out to cafe for coffee/tea/meals and got soaked in a downpour in search of a hot drink after checking in. Taxi to airport from here was 30euro but as its a 1 minute walk to bus stop or Ubahn it's easy to use that to the main station and the Sbahn to airport terminal. Great place for a short break or business trip as less impersonal than a chain hotel.

Great value comfortable stay in Düsseldorf

Booking a good value hotel can sometimes be a gamble, but not so with this one. It's about 10-15 mins walk from the central station and is just round the corner from the U-Bahn. I arrived late in the evening but no problem and I was warmly welcomed. The staff were very attentive during my stay and honesty could not have done more. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Overall a fantastic stay at a great price - would certainly return if I ever come back to Düsseldorf!
